Just a bunch of old crap
Flagstaff area folks, please keep an eye out for a missing friend named Robert "Bobby" Roach. He was last seen on Friday 5/29/15 at about 4pm in Flagstaff parking his car at the Target on Milton and University and then walking away from it. Surveillance saw him walk east on University towards the NAU campus. He's a 34 year old white male, 5'10" tall, and 210 lbs. Black widow spider tatoos on his arms, and a tribal tattoo on his right arm/neck.

In conversation with family on Thursday, he was in good spirits and mentioned he was headed possibly to Flagstaff to "take a walk in the woods", and left a note on Friday that made mention of potentially harming himself. He left his cell phone at home in Peoria, and left his wallet with everything in it inside of his car at the Target, but didn't leave the keys.

I was with the family and with search and rescue on Sunday/Monday, combing the area behind NAU and all around the hills by the observatory. SAR sent out multiple dogs, and 3 different dogs went from his car and met up at the same area behind the Target, then lost the trail. It appears he MAY have had someone pick him up. He only had on cold weather clothes and some sort of pack or sleeping bag under his arm. Camera resolution was grainy. The family doesn't know of anyone he would have met up with, but law enforcement is analyzing his cell phone for possible clues.

If you're out camping or anywhere in the area and spot this man, please call 911 immediately. He could be alone or with someone. He is likely carrying a green sleeping bag, and has on a dark hoody, dark pants, and possibly a beanie. He is not known to be an avid outdoorsman and has very limited camping experience. He recently ran into financial troubles and has limited to no funds.

    Thanks,
    Adam

Sometimes I feel like a "walk in the woods", myself. Nothing to do with harming myself, but more or less off the grid for a day or two..
    Hope he is doing ok.

Sorry to hear about your buddy, I hope everything turns out okay. Being a SAR volunteer myself, I appreciate your efforts to raise awareness and help out. Prayers for you and everyone involved.

Didn't read the article, but am glad this worked out. These things don't turn out good more times than not. It was nice to see a positive out come.

Article didn't say much, except he was missing. They added an addendum that he was found. No details.
