Oh yes. Lots of fun with no real risk of damage or issues other than needing to keep a tow strap handy

new noise started on Sunday night. rotational humm kinda from around 35-40mph sounds like front pass area just did the hub and found some metal but didn't fix the sound. i know my center carrier bearing is bad and have a new one hopefully that fixes it but any other ideas?

Wheel bearing? that needle thing second gens have? Driveshaft? Tires? Front diff has oil?

Does it go away in 4x4? Does it go away if you sway the truck back and forth putting different pressure on the wheel bearings?

those are just off the top of my head:notsure:

Anybody been up 89A in Oak Creek Canyon lately?
Thinking about driving up thru there this weekend, but I know there's road construction -- how bad is it?

It's not bad, way better than it has been in the last 6months. I just went through there a few weeks ago. But the construction is all up in flagstaff at the top of the switchbacks. If you don't plan on coming up here you shouldn't hit the construction.

I was gonna drive up to Williams with some friends who've never seen Oak Creek Canyon, thought I'd maybe drive up 89a but don't want to get stuck in bad construction. If it's bad I'll just drive straight up to Flag then.

It could be bad depending on time of day, but so long as it isn't peak hrs, you should be fine and it will be worth taking the scenic route

    Hi
I will be visiting flagstaff from December 10-13
And I was wondering if you guys could tell me the best places (or trails) I should visit?
I was think of going to the Grand Canyon (for the first time) and that’s pretty much it haha

If you're 4x4 then head down to Sedona for a day, very pretty and you can run broken arrow. Other than that, the forest roads will be closed for the winter by then so you can mess around in the cinders or head to the mountain if there is snow to check that out
