Be careful with those Maglite mounts.
I had a set mounted to the back of my old Ranger cab.
Broke two sets moving things in or out from behind the seats.
The plastic snaps easy when the light isn't mounted.

I prefer a 4C size Mag but still have an old 3D with a Malkoff conversion from 20 years ago that I had mounted with the clips one of the above posters linked. Had it mounted on the floor beside the drivers seat on my old Frontier. I have the 3C stashed in the truck but have a Surefire G2X in the console and a Lumintop EDC01 on my keychain. So far I cant remember using the Mag in the last 10 years. The keychain lumintop is brighter and the Surfire is tougher. The mag has cheap lithium D cells in it. Reg alkaline will leak in a heartbeat in Texas temps

This is very true, and really cold temps cause them to break if you just pull the light out.

Got the idea from this thread, so figured I’d share. ML150LR charging mount attached with some gorilla double-sided tape. Used rubbing alcohol and a heat gun to get the surfaces prepped and haven’t had trouble with this stuff in the cold or 100+ degree heat. IMG_6365.jpg

I carry a small torch on my Sun visor molle panel and a larger light in my center console using a gun magnet. Added bonus: the gun magnet can also hold a gun…

It’s just screwed into the plastic cover of the seat, right? It really doesn’t seem durable enough for this. Do you have any other backer / have you had any problems?

No, just screwed into the plastic. I figured if it got loose, I'd add something to the back but it's been in there for a couple of years now.
