I don't have pics of my stuff, but have owned several maglites and love how tough they are, but really wanted something to put in my pockets for hunting, camping, etc. I found some Rocky flashlights at Sams that have blown me away. They hold 3 or 6 AAA batteries and the 6 cell puts out over 200 lumens with new batteries, while the 3 puts out something like 180. I love how they use AAA's instead of CR123's because they are so much cheaper.

Also, I have reciently learned of the most powerfull full size flashlight that I have ever seen and it uses rechargeable batteries:

    http://www.blackbearflashlights.com/

Their Borealis flashlight puts out 1050 lumens  (one standard car headlight pust out about that much) and it is made from a Maglite 'donor', so you know it is absolutely bullet proof. Just to show how bright they are, it can start a fire if paper is put in front of it and come with safety tips so you don't start a fire accidentally:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCrwelQUTMc

Check out their photos in their comparison section. Compared to the light the Navy Seals use, the SureFire M-6, this one blows it away; it is half the price, lasts longer, and doesn't require those expensive CR123 batteries. One of these will definately be replacing my 4 cell maglite in my truck as soon as I can come off the $260 price tag... and yes, I do think they are worth that.

When I was at the beach, I saw this guy have a really cool LED flashlight. It was so bright, it reminded me of a spotlight, but it was LED, had strobe and wasn't bigger than a maglite. I wish I knew what it was. We were 17 floors up in a condo and he was like 2 or 3 floors higher than us and he shined it on the beach and it lit up the place he was aiming it as well as having a light walking on the beach.

i think Maglight needs to step up the game..they essentially stayed still, while the technology and competition..ran away.

Agree with the larger ones, but these:

are pretty comparable to most smaller ones out there. I like it alot. Only thing that it maybe lacks on, is battery life. It takes 3 AAA and, I don't think they last that long.

Fenix TK70 puts out 2200 lumens and is a much nicer light imo...

I currently have a Fenix PD32. I like it, it is my first flashlight that is not some cheap piece of crap. I use it as my bike headlight when on the bike trail at night and it does a fine job. I have been looking at getting the Fenix TK41 or the TK45. The 41 has about 40 more lumens than the 45 but is only about $2.00 more. But I like the look of the 45 more. Probably will end up getting the 41.

I like my PD32 as well, although the light from it is more yellow than white. I also have the TK11 too and it is a lot brighter than the PD32 even though it is rated lower. It's all in what you want really. The TK is brighter but the PD is much better for daily use.

    stuff...
Rigid Industries 700 lumen. Great light, I use it to light up utility poles when away from my truck and the road. Best of all it comes with a rechargable li-ion battery and a charger that can be used in the wall or cigarette lighter. No more buying batteries for me. 5 different settings, 700 lumens, 500, 200, flashing strobe, and flashinf SOS in morse code. One of the best investments that I've made.

The other light always on my hip is a coast led lenser v2. That is a company that stands behind its products, I had an older model, it broke and they sent me the newer one. I also use their led headlamp, vercro'd to my hardhat. Work awesome and the dimmer switch is invaluable for close quarter jobs.

I have a Stinger DS LED. Bought mainly for work purposes. I really like it. I've dropped the shit out of it and it's still going strong. 180 Lumens, not some of the high end stuff I've seen in here, but I've taken it home a few times and it will throws decently far.
