Planning on doing the Whipsaw this summer, and possibly a trip down to Yosemite next year.

They're 285/75/16. They'll be going on 2nd gen sr5 alloys once I get them. Won't be seeing them on the truck till the summer.

Is it your snokel, or are you getting some Rigid LEDs... (just looking at the sign in the background)

EDIT: Never mind, that's not a Rigid sign!

Sweet man! What did you end up paying for the snorkel?

Saving the tires for whipsaw? ;)

oh btw, I was running 285/75/16s on 16X8 with 4.5" backspacing and they would rub frame at full lock

You don't wanna know how much I paid, if you can find any way of making it south of the border and getting one I would seriously suggest that option. Tires will come in the summer, they're currently waiting for me in AB. I'll be running the tires with a stock 2nd sr5 tacoma rim and a 1" spacer, I think i'll be good.

It's not that they're bad or anything, it really comes down to rim size. I want 16" rims just cuz they're more widely accepted nowadays, and I wanted to try out a different tire this time around so I went duratrac, that's about all the reasoning there is in the decision. I also find the km2's to be pretty loud...doesn't negate from the fact that they're still an awesome tire.

Yup! I have an awesome friend who works at toyota and he gets a lot of stuff either for free or trade or super cheap and he was nice enough to let me borrow these until I can afford to buy a set of 16's, so I'm pretty stoked.

You would not know how many people are asking to buy these rims and tires! As soon as they are mounted everyone wants them. But don't worry I'm keeping them safe

Yay! You should probably just bring them home with you, lol. Also, I'm still confused why they didn't come with white lettering, my brother has duratracs on his truck, same size and everything and they have white lettering...*sigh*, I guess it wasn't meant to be.

I think they are just mounted with the white lettering on the inside. So, you can probably switch them to white out if you want.
