A full wrap will run you $2500+ depending what you get.

One of the things that sucks about living in a not so big city (Yuma, AZ) is that we lack specialty shops. I went to a local business that does signs, vinyl work, etc., and asked for a quote on wrapping my truck in 3M matte black vinyl. Well... you would have thought that I came in wearing a two-piece poke a dot bikini while walking a pet pig on a leash with a damn parrot on my shoulder!

The manager at the counter looked at me with the most confused look and asked what I was talking about... FML! I carefully explained what I was asking for. I could see a sign behind him that showed services offered and he had vinyl wrapping on the list. Manager told me that they don't do full vehicle wrapping and that it can't be done. I asked if he would be able to possibly look up the materials I mentioned and offer me a quote for his services and materials. He argued that vinyl wrap HAS to be removed after one year so he wouldn't even let his shop do the work. I didn't want to argue or negotiate with the man or attempt to explain that his attitude towards the subject was possibly costing him $$$.

So... hopefully someone out there in TW has info about a shop either in San Diego or Phoenix that does this type of vinyl wrap work and that is reputable.

how do the wraps hold up to the elements? looks soooo sick & i'd gladly pay $2500 for it but not if i have to take it off in 1 year.

& what if it gets scratched?

How about just painting your truck matte/flat black?

I would think that would be easier right? Maybe even cheaper?
