So coming in to work tonight the light indicating that my tire was loosing air came on. I have a spare tire but only the bottle jack that came with the truck. Is there anyone that would be willing to help me or bring a jack to high point regional in the morning? I’m off at 7am. :(

You can use the bottle jack under the rear axle or under the LCA if your flat is up front.

The jack that came with the truck will work fine.

Sorry hon, I'm way too far away to lend a hand.
The little jack that's mentioned will work.
I purchased cheap tire inflator's for the fleet of family vehicles. There's one in each car/truck. Look into getting yourself one. Maybe with luck it's just a little low on air and you won't be on a flat in the morning.
    Wish I could help.

Hopefully this doesn’t come off as condescending, but are you certain you have a flat? In the colder weather the pressure will drop low enough triggering the TPMS light. If it’s just the light that’s on but there’s still air in the tire, it’ll be fine to drive. I only ask because you only mentioned the light itself.

Or could be a faulty pressure sensor all together

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
Check tire pressure. It could be the spare tire are well since some or all of them have a sensor in them.

my light was on for a few years because it some how reset itself:annoyed::facepalm: tried lowering the PSI in all 5 tires and pressing the set button under steering wheel but it didn’t work. Had the truck at the dealer one time and let went into the computer and reset it.

Edit: if I was close and not already bused I’d just come fix it while you at work.

Oh I’m sure. There’s a large piece of glass sticking out of it.

Yep, she’s flat! At least you’re on dry, flat ground so however it gets swapped shouldn’t be too bad.

    I said worse lol

Yeah. I’m just thankful I’m not on the side of the road some where. Just sucks I’m over an hour from home and it’s 18 degrees. I don’t have gloves but at least I have another set of clothes to put on over my scrubs. I’ll get it changed.

Maybe ask a coworker to assist you. Or call a tow service to come take care of it tonight.

Make sure you get the spare down before you pull it off. Might have to pull forward a little.

Sammie, this behind the back seat in wife's double cab. I think $20.00 or less. Plug in 12v port and screw it on the tire while truck warms up.
Well...hopefully you won't need it again but this one of those cheap easy to store, just in case items. It would likely hold air long enough to get to tire repair place. 20220122_202205.jpg

I just purchased AAA. It says basic membership stuff is active immediately. I’ll call them when I’m about to leave.

AAA never showed or called til 3 hours after the fact.

Coworker helped me change it. If you’d like you can lock or delete this.
