    Running boards, roof rack, bed extender, plasti-dipped grill.
    Looks like everyone took their ball and went home. I don't have a lit if advice on this but I would think worst case you disconnect both drive shafts and move on with your plans.

    If you jack the front of your 4x4, you can freely spin the tire. If you crawl under and have someone spin it, you’ll see the front drive shaft is static. This means it’s disconnected in 2wd.

    You still need to modify the rear end to make this work, that is why Toyota says no to do it.

    I’ve been checking out the superior driveline disconnect collar for the rear diff. My only concern is how durable that system is, especially if you want to do some light wheeling from time to time.

    Anyone try one yet?
