Lol we will see. I’m trying to have my cake and eat it to with the build. But it hasn’t worked out too well. Hoping to fix that this year.

    see how it goes.

And it’s done. Glad I got the shocks out as I believe they could have failed catastrophically.

they are suppose to be the same length

believe that the internal stops to prevent too much droop blew out. This pic kinda shows where I believe a weld or tab ripped out.

And the rest of the suspension

Also some pics of the beefed up lowers

    lower skid EC911DDC-1327-425A-914D-488B0612CA33.jpg

and beefed up at the mount

Got the alignment at roughly 0 camber and maxed out caster with the poly cam deletes as well
    8399E3B9-D311-4831-87BB-7CCF4CA61EF6.jpg

See how it drives and I’ll try to dial in the toe.

not bad for a couple hours over two days.

Line choice should be better but this year I need to take it easy and slowly shake down the truck. Can’t have another expensive year.

They sent tracking. Check your email. You will get two tracking numbers (one shock per box).

Going to be flying with those resis!

They were pretty dead on at 10 weeks. The only thing I can think of is the long weekend throwing it. They were in lockdown during the time when o got mine.

With the new shocks and whole front end pretty much rebuilt, I decided to add limit strap to ensure I don’t have any issues any time soon. If I was running a sway bar I wouldn’t bother, but I’m not so I feel this is needed

this is what I used all from tmr customs 184621EF-5EFE-4300-8224-C5FB15A9DD85.jpg

added some frame plates to have a bit more surface area for welding
    8ADA364A-15AC-4192-A839-65503018EDC1.jpg

Since I got 12” straps I went to the shock tower. Don’t look to close to my welds, it’s a tight spot with a welding helmet and what not. Should hold fine.

    B0C80AAF-A4BD-49F6-9E72-731CDB984B1A.jpg

All installed. These will stretch to 13” and I have plenty of room to adjust them
    45D73716-015C-4B42-98DD-BDEC4038C890.jpg

This is at droop. I’m only trying to limit down travel a bit, and will have to readjust in a bit once these stretch

Are the straps there to limit travel or is it a just in case something breaks again safety measure.
After what happened its making me think.....

It’s limiting travel a 1/4” or so. Essentially ensuring my shocks don’t take the brunt of droop and saving ball joints. Since I’m not running a sway bar it should help a bit.

I think I'd go 3/4". Just for the stretch that might happen with the limit strap. Excellent idea. Better that breaking another axle tube.
Great :frusty:another thing to put on the list.:)

That’s the thing, I believe my strap will stretch 1” total. But I have read conflicting information if the strap stretches while in use or over time (12” strap becoming a 13” strap). Regardless I have about 1” of adjustment.

Finally got to test out the suspension and was very happy with the ride. I am rubbing now with the caster not being what it was. Can’t max it out like I had.
    82F6936D-4ABC-4374-A5D8-3C5C663262D7.jpg
also really liking the empty bed for day runs. 82F6936D-4ABC-4374-A5D8-3C5C663262D7.jpg

have to do some hammer work on the fenders and also double check my limit straps.
