Ok, the right turn signal must essentially “ground out” for it to work I think

Well after reading this thread and a bazillion others, I’m at a loss.. maybe my 5 to 4 is junk.. everything works, except…my turn signals blink fast when I use them, but the hazards blink normal? Everything functions , just a fast turn signal front and back

Are your new turn signals LED? If so, this is what I think is happening...

If your truck is still wired for the stock lamps for 2005, the turn signal is expecting the same resistance as in an old school bulb. LED has less resistance, and as the blink rate is influenced by resistance you are getting a way quicker flash. When you use the four-ways, the resistance is high enough to flash at the regular rate. Solutions might include using an incandescent lamp or wiring in a resistor with your LEDs. Just to be clear, this is not advice, just me thinking out loud and looking forward to having the same problem if I get my own project going soon...

leds ..I believe you are absolutely right.. because after messing with for a while I hooked a regular tail light to it and everything was normal, thanks for the response tho,me and wiring don’t go hand in hand, lol

Does anybody have a source for good angled under bed boxes? I built the set on my tundra but I'm looking for an affordable pre made set for a Tacoma bed I'm building.

Neat! Ruidoso isn’t too far from DFW, can you post more pics?

This is the one from the tundra. It's getting powdercoated right now. I have an OVRLND camper being custom built for the bed that should be done in July. I'll post up some pictures of the Tacoma bed as we make progress.

I made some progress on this bed finally. Drop down tailgate, drop down sideboards that will be used for ramps to winch game animals up into the bed, cooler rack built into the headache rack, maintains the parking sensors, and will have some diode dynamics lights in the rear and on the rack.

Do you know what it weighs?

    Approx cost?

Are you willing to modify/customize it?

It ended up pretty heavy, but we used heavier wall tube for the side boards so they would hold up as ramps. We also beefed up a few other areas for this customer. It weighs about 950 lbs.

We did some trading but it probably would cost 8,500 powdercoated.

What would you want changed? This one was pretty custom for this guy because he's a hunting guide and had all kinds of ideas.

Center/middle bottom drawer between the mounting points
Shorter - I'm planning to cut the frame just past the hammer hangers, weld in a new crossmember with hitch just before the factory bumper mounts. Close to this: https://www.tacomaforce.com/cdn/sho...ment-flatbed-64266995957988.heic?v=1705523001
Weight - Ideally as light as possible per our DM's, but I recognize that steel inherently has weight. My truck doesn't haul steel/farm implements/industrial anything more than camping gear, so I don't need it built to hold that... but it may occasionally contact a tree or rock.
