I just posted this here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/get-flated.746138/page-5
In case anyone was thinking about these shells. I think it’s great for what it is. I’m not sure if I will leave it on full time, but if I do need to take it off to pick up a tall item, I can get it off the truck in about 10 minutes. I’m still figuring out final fitment.

Probably just as good as my Soft Topper, just as ugly, too.

I don't have a problem leaving my Soft Topper on all the time.

I don't know if I could look at that thing every day.

It does what its supposed to and that's all that really matters.

    How much those cost?

I bought this one used and watched it drop in price until it was “worth a shot”. I think I paid $300 for it. New, they are over $1K. That’s the issue for most people considering them, and they are generic sized for the most common bed sizes. After I sold my Flippac, I left my bed open with the bed rug and my power cables and switches exposed. I figured I might as well put this on while I decide what I’m going to do with the truck. The company makes some crazy videos showing people white water rafting, dropping loads of dirt on them, etc… to show how durable they are.
