Flated?

So I don’t need a topper as I have an RSI but have seen these pop up on social media a bunch.

liked the concept but the price and seeing one in person has me thinking otherwise.

granted these were on a Ranger but I just don’t see how these wouldn’t leak by the bed rail.

 

Either that's an exaggerated angle or that thing looks like it creates some killer drag!

 

I don't know if I love it or hate it, but it is nice to see a little bit of risk/innovation in that specific market.

 

It must really be awful fitment on that 6' Bed. Every picture I see on their website shows a smoother transition where it meets the end of the cab. It looks interesting, however for $1,500 I think I'd rather save a few more Rupees and put it towards a Leer.

Agreed. It would still have to be physically attached to the truck in a similar manner. So any argument as to it's fast and or easy on take off or put on seems to offer no advantages.

 

Horrible looking on every truck I've seen it on.

 

How is that thing more than $500

 

So river raft/rigid inflatable boat tech in a shell- I guess I can kinda see the appeal for someone who wants to be able to put it on occasionally but leave it packed in its bag in the garage most of the time. That 100# weight limit/nothing abrasive is a deal killer for a lot of folks who actually use their shells.

 

what's the advantage of this over a soft topper?
