I couldn’t find one either but I called and asked. They set up an apointment to check them out for the tsb. I bring it in Friday so I guess I’ll see what they say

Those are official toyota charts from Toyota themselves on how to identify whether somebody has new leaf packs already or not. Unsure what it is for 1st gens though! As far as i know i thought the TSB was for second gens only 05-15. Im interested on what your dealer has to say about them, let me know!

Its for my GFs second gen. She has a 2011, and her leafs are shot. Ive identified them as the 3 clip leafs shown in the diagram. Im hoping they replace them and then ill most likely add an AAL for the additional weight she has (camper shell and bed platform). She doesn't want the ride to change to change much, she has kings all the way around and the front are set to about 1/2" lift. Shes a bro lean right now for sure tho! lol

I bet that thing does have quite the lean with the cap on it and the weak leafs. Yes if its anyone of the red ones it should be under the tsb. I bought a 2" aal off Amazon for 50 bucks shipped to my house. Threw it in the tab pack and it has served me pretty well.

Did you have to remove the leafs from the truck to install or were you able to make it work on the truck?

The TSB is mainly for us early 2nd Gens. They caught the problem and issued the TSB for 05-11 Pre-Runners and 4x4s. 2012 and newer already have the 4-leaf packs.

I removed the u bolts and just lowered the axle after the truck was on stands and used a floor jack to move the pumpkin around as needed. Remove the bottom bolt on the shock and remove the centering pin on the pack. The aal kit i got came with two new centering pins and you just cut them down to size and retighten. Also get longer u bolts from wheelers offroad, they are cheap. Also have multiple c clamps ready to squeeze the pack together because getting the pin back in can be a real bitch.

Well, I just ordered up the Icon leaf pack, not the aal and will start another thread of that install when I get them. I plan on starting on the lowest setting and see what I get for height and go from there. They were expensive but F it, I hope this is the ticket for me.

It sounds like it’s the better way to go. I would order them but I’m not ready to do a full on lift yet. Let us know how it works out as I might be following suit in the near future.

I'll let you know, I just hope I don't end up with too much lift but am not really worried about it.
