It's always funny when it comes to those who SAS, or upgrade their suspension in general. I am still on stock suspension so many trails are still relatively difficult and exciting. When you start throwing in lockers, SAS, crawl box, I feel like things that were extremely intimidating become much easier. So then you need to go and search for even harder challenges to give you that oh shit feeling that we all love from wheeling. I plan on staying IFS so I can keep a balance of fast off road stuff and slow offroad stuff. I feel I will always be limited compared to a SAS rig but I will always have a solid balance of what I need my truck to be, and will always get that oh shit feeling when I am trying a trail that an IFS rig may struggle on.

Yup. Depends what level of trails you're comfortable wheeling. For the long term, IFS won't hold up all that great if you enjoy being on the Rubicon every weekend so the natural progression is to axle swap. I've known a lot of people who built buggies and sold them to go back to simple solid axle Toyotas to bring some fun back into wheeling. I think that happens more often than going from a solid axle truck to IFS because IFS isn't great for rock crawling.

yea unfortunately those small red compressors wouldn't handle those meat too easily....i know my Viair 400p has a hard enough time with the 35s once i hit 30+psi

still one of my favorite crawlers...simple

Yeah CO2 or Nitrogen would be best. What's a 20lb nitrogen tank cost? :D

Fuck Nitrogen. That stuff cost twice as much to refill as CO2.

I paid $204 for my 125 cu ft plain jane steel nitrogen bottle from Airgas, but that is much larger than a 20lb equivalent.

I like nitrogen more than CO2 but eventually after so many refills, I might as well have bought a dual compressor/tank Viair setup. Might just have to deal with CO2

    Thanks!

Just maybe it will get a makeover for Ultra4 rules to make Stock Mod class for the 2016 KOH. Need to find a 2uz because my 5VZE won't cut it :cookiemonster:

Airgas fills them to 2000 psi, not sure what the max is. It's a 125 cu ft. It's too big to pack around on the trail. It's about 5ft tall. You could obviously go smaller, but the price difference for one half that size wasn't much cheaper and I didn't plan on hauling it around since it is just for filling my ORI's up front.
