    Some of the things...
This will be my first real contribution to tacomaworld. After scouring the interwebs for something other than a poor fitting pillar pod mount, I saw the FLEXPOD from Cravenspeed. The only review online was bad and it stated that the tilt function would be disabled and the quality was lacking. I'll try and touch on the things I've discovered.

    Packaging:

This thing was very well packed. It includes the gauge mounting cups, the steering column bridge, and all the necessary hardware.

    Fit and Quality:

The mount comes with a bedliner type finish that if anything just looks cool. The whole assembly is heavier than I expected (in a good way). I picked my gauges before ordering the mount and I did run into some space conflicts. The autometer boost gauge I have is mechanical and the supplied fittings ran the nylon tubing right into my gauge cluster. A simple visit to napa got me a 90 degree pipe fitting and I was on my way. I also picked an innovate DB gauge that does not fit as well as I had hoped. It's a very slim gauge and there's little way I can see to mount it more securely. It required the use of 3 little vinyl buttons to take up slack and while it's not going anywhere I'd like to see set screws or something.

    Conclusion:

I would recommend this FLEXPOD setup to anyone in search of something other than the pillar pods. It doesn't inhibit the view of critical lights or dials and really does make for a more exciting cockpit. At $120 it's not cheap but I feel was worth the investment for something that required no modification to my factory interior.

Hope this was worth the read!

So does your steering move up and down or is it stationery now? Anymore con?
I am still on the fence about it?

I drive with the column all the way up (I've got fat knees?) and there's plenty of room for mechanical gauge hardware. It still tilts as it did from the factory.
