Flexy Hood

So...is it just me or do others out there cringe when you pass a semi on a 2 lane road and watch you're hood flex? I keep half expecting the hood to fold backwards over the windshield....

I don't think it's a super common thing, it's but not unheard of and at least enough of a thing that there's a thread. I was dealing with a few issues that contributed to hood flutter, including my hood bending due being open too long and my catch was starting to rust within the hood itself. Just tackled these latches this weekend and am happy with the initial result.

 

Ahhh, if only i'd used the word "flutter" in my search! Hard to pick the right adjective sometimes.... Thanks for the info. I don't feel so alone anymore.

 

I searched TW and google multiple times even after saving that thread in my watched list because I could not recall the name.
