Chaco flips FTW, especially when I know I'll be on my feet all day. They support better than any shoes that I have.

FYI, the Vibram Five Fingers are awesome for their intended purpose and I do know a lot of people that swear by them. The one (sort of) bad thing I've heard about them so far is that the tendons in your feet can feel stretched and hurt because of being spread apart but that it just takes some getting used to. So plan on breaking them in, don't go for a big hike or run right off the bat.

They make chinese knockoff versions of the 5fingers for like $35, My brother bought a pair 6 months ago runs in them every day and they just started wearing thin. I dont personally like them at all. I do love my nike free shoes though like the mentioned above^

And they are only $5 at the store. So when someone jacks your 2 year old pair from the beach, they are pretty easy and cheap to replace.

I'll see your Florida and raise you Hawaii.

Sandals, flip flops, slippers (whatever you want to call them) are standard issue here.

I hate flip flops...Anything between my toes irritates me.
