Flip Up/Down License Plate Bracket

    um... Not sure I follow, do you mean the bracket hangs too low? Do you have a pic of you holding it up against your bumper?

    I don't have a pic at the moment but essentially when I hold the bracket up to the bumper the predrilled holes on the bumper are higher than the bracket holes.

    I have an aftermarket rear bumper with a hidden hitch. Used four magnets on the license plate with long screws that act as studs to center the license plate on the holes drilled on the bumper. I tried to get a flip plate holder to work but didn't feel like drilling or modifying the bumper. Happy I went with the magnets.

    Thanks for the info, this thread helped a lot. after installation of my all pro rear I had to get a flip up mount. I got that same crappy one that didn't line up with the holes and I said fuck drilling more holes I'll just order that other black one. hopefully works out time

    So being a bit on the frugal side I went with steel braided cable on the top holes and then glued magnets on the bottom holes. The bolts are there to keep it lined up and are held in place by the magnets. Total cost just over $5. Might not be the best looking but it's a truck...
