Hope they give you the few days to "find" the parts that must've been torn off in the roll.

I don't believe OP had a car seat in his truck, and telling him to put one in so his claim can be increased is fraudulent and illegal.

    Are you advocating insurance fraud?

I don't mean to start anything but our Tacomas are not that easy to roll even when lifted. Several of times there were objects in the freeway like a couch, mattress, and chairs. I did evasive maneuvers 70mph+ and it was pretty sure footed.

The only time I came close to rolling it was when I had my anti sway bar removed several of weeks to experiment.

Nice... go ahead and suggest to the OP that he commit insurance fraud.

You think insurance company fraud departments don't know about these sorts of forums??? (don't ask me how I know)

If the truck is totaled, and the insurance company will pay only for OEM parts and not the aftermarket stuff, the company will most likely say "it's your stuff, take it off (as long as an OEM part is there)"

Committing "soft fraud" (adding phony things to fatten up your claim) is a great way to get your claim denied and maybe getting prosecuted in the bargain.

I hear ya… I have a few things against me here. the most important thing to remember is that i went sideways into a ditch about 3 ft deep and only 6 ft wide but i also don't and traction control, anti roll technology or lsd. My sway bar is still in place. everything in my accident happened perfect for me being i suffered no injuries. Not really sure why I'm being interrogated? Just a fellow member trying to keep from letting the insurance company from getting more than just my truck… I'll probably be selling my parts on here bc i want a 09' or newer so I can have all the electronic safety features that come on the newer trucks. Not mad just like wtf?… I wasn't expecting this… I lost my truck, my gun got ejected so i lost that and it was the day before my birthday. Im just lucky to be here.

OP - glad you're alright. I would go back and look for your gun though....
On a side note, my brother is an EMT on the flight for life and about month ago they were called to a rollover. Turned out to be a newer tacoma pulling a pop-up camper. Not sure what caused it but he said the truck held up great, better than most he has seen and the driver(wearing a seat belt) walked away with only minor cuts and bruising. Just another testiment that we should survive a rollover but our leaf springs still suck!
