Flooding in Hawaii

Those same type of assholes were looting houses in my parent's neighborhood when the houses were evacuated due to fire.

 

Just called the place I'll be at and they said it's good to go and come on down.

If any locals do have info on being able to help in any way with labor, I'd be interested in links/phone numbers/locations or info.

"...... You are correct, the flooding is up north Hanalei and north, northwest of there. Sad to see, but our area (east side) seems to be okay, as well as south and west. Let's hope things start to get back to normal for the north side. Thanks for checking in. ....." I'll be there next week and advise of otherwise.

Cool, bookmarked the site and I'll check it as it gets closer and I'll pack some extra stuff that I won't mind getting a bit dirty.

 

How are things going on the island? Hopefully that other storm that was heading in decided to go around the islands.

 

Things are finally getting a chance to dry up the last few days! That storm that was supposed to have came was kind with little to no rain in some parts, luckily! The rain has subsided for the most part. The roads on the north shore will still be down for a bit more though.

I was surfing at that beach a month ago...crazy. Stay safe out there.

 

My wife & I will be landing in Kauai this afternoon. I'll start a new thread in a local section if I can find it before I lose intrawebs.
