I'm sure it's been asked a thousand times, so I'll make it a thousand and one. This is the first time I have had to jack up the front of my 2011 Tacoma. Front brakes need changed, still have about 2mm left at 80K. Anyhow, I have done the search function here and really didn't find a clear answer. Or I'm blind, which supports my wife's opinion. Called York Toyota in PA to confirm that this "bell shaped" weldment is indeed a jack point for the front, with jack stands going on the frames near the cross member behind the front wheels. Here is a pic of the "bell shaped" weldment. Before I do anything stupid, I wanted to ask the experts.

    Thanks in advance.

My truck is up in the air supported by that exact location right now. Support w/jack stands at the frames and you are good to go!

    Ost,

    Thanks!

    Lester,

Saw that diagram before....It's just not real specific on that front jack location.
