Floor liners Husky? Weathertech?

They “fit” but the auto trans has a significantly wider dead pedal/footrest which may not allow enough clearance for your foot to fully depress the clutch. I went with the weatherbeaters for this reason but they haven’t come in yet. I hope they aren’t too hard or slippery though. Had the X-Act in my 2015 and they were great.

When you receive yours, let me know how it is with the clutch pedal and clearance. I don't want the clearance to be a problem. I have a Honda Accord stick shift and weathertechs, and a couple times the clutch pedal got stuck underneath the weathertechs mats, and these were the laser liners which are a direct fit. I think this is due to the weathertechs being flexible. I ended up trimming a little bit off that clutch side to avoid this problem.

Don't want to deal with the same issues so I am considering other options such as the husky xact floor liners, or even weatherbeaters.

If anyone has suggestions for good floor mats for the access cab in 6speed manual configuration please let me know!!!

 

You should have no problem with the Weatherbearers because they make different ones for the AT and MT. The X-Act Contour is AT only unfortunately.

 

Ok, I will look into the weather beaters. I will also call husky and ask them, if possible, would the automatic access cab ones work, if I trimmed a little bit up to for clutch clearance. Thanks for the response.

 

I’m sure it would fit fine if you just trimmed off the side of the footrest on the mat, but then there would be a large hole in your new floor mat.

Damn your husky's are so much cleaner than mine haha I pressure wash them every now and then but they are no where as clean as yours.

 

Haha thanks, I dont do anything too special to them. Every so often just some soap, a quick wipe down with microfiber, rinse and air dry. I feel like they clean up really easily!

 

I'm very happy with the huskys. Last two sets(ram and tacoma) I've bought from Amazon have been used very good and come in great condition and I saved quite a bit over new. GLWS

 

A few months later are you still liking your weather beaters over choosing the xact fit ones? Looking to purchase one of these two this weekend and just wondering the real differences between the two choices everyone else through this thread said xact fit ones.

 

I ended up returning my weather beaters. Didn’t like them at all compared to the XAct Contours in my 2015. They fit great and don’t look bad, but the I just didn’t like how my floor was now just hard, slippery plastic.

 

Perfect that was the answer I was looking for. ​

 

No prob. There’s not even much price difference, so I can’t see any reason for buying the weather beaters really. I ended up getting the OEM Toyota all weather mats.

 

I've had them since I got the truck in 2016, and they still look brand new after a good cleaning. I can't speak on the differences between the Husky weatherbeater and the Xact besides looks wise, but either will be superior to the Weathertechs as far as coverage and material. The weatherbeaters are stiff, but they came in a flat box and not rolled up so thats not an issue. The rigidity hasn't been an issue either.

 

Thanks for the feedback. I got the xact ones full coverage, looks like I still have to trim some to get a better fit but the directions call for that, so far so good!

 

If anyone wants a set of black weathertechs, I have a pair for sale in the classifieds that I need to get rid of. One is brand new and one is about a week old. PM if you want details. Selling them cheap.

 

Unrelated but I'm ok with the factory all weather mats, but I had weathertec mud guards and went with the husky's and I like them alot, they came with paint guards.
