floor mat recall ????

Wel its been a while since i have been on here but i never heard what happend with the whole floor mat recall.
I am behind on this matter so if you guys have any info on that i would be happy to hear abotu it.

they aint gettin my mats!

 

I got my letter in the mail last week and it basically said Toyota has no clue what to do about it yet and just take the mats out til they figure out what to do.

 

I took my truck in today for other warranty work and they said they are reordering my carpet because they are gonna have to take the old out to replace the thing were the clips hook into, on my truck the clip holster is broke and lord knows were the clips have gotten off to, but they said they would keep doing that until toyota made a fix for the problem, i got my letter in the mail last week from toyota telling me to take the floormats out due to accidents occuring, i will post again as soon as they get everything done to my truck and i'll be sure to let yall know. It might be awhile before it gets done

I put in weathertechs, and a Afe pro dry-s. If my truck gets the mystery acceleration it should go 65 to 100 in, oh I dunno, 20 seconds?

My shift knob has no "N" so i'm gonna force a tsb on em for a new one......................... hey look, an intestine, looks like a horses...... oh yea.....the maggot infested anus indicates a dead horse, beaten.Shame on me err us.

 

I haven't heard any more on this. What's the latest? Why doesn't Toyota let the owners know what is going on, give us a update.
