I saw Weathertech rubber mats at Pepboys the other day. They make these cut to fit for compact/med/full cars for $49 a set. If they can be cut to fit the Tacoma, may be a good deal, consider Weathertech quality.

I wouldn't get THOSE weathertechs. The digital fit is the way to go.

The reason the weathertechs are in my opinion the best, is that they go up around all sides. Up over the door sill, and up over the carpet on the shift console. You could pour a half gallon of mud in them, and it would never touch the carpet.

The reason I went to these from the Husky style ones, is that I was always getting the carpet dirty from my feet hitting the center console carpet area, and the carpet going up to the door sill.

They are worth every penny if you want to keep your carpet looking new.

I bought Weathertech digital fits and got them in today. Much say they look really good and cover a good area. Never had a chance to try em out yet but will give a better review later on.

I went through 2 sets of the Toyota all-season mats on my now gone 2002 DC. They wore out VERY quickly for me, splitting at the base of the ribs and then leaking water and grit onto the carpet underneath the mat. I just got a new 2010 DC last Wednesday, and am shopping right now for mats, and am leaning heavily towards the custom Weathertechs (black).
