Floor mats

Just got my first tacoma. 2018 access cab sr5. Cost me a pretty penny but damn if I'm not happy. I have a buddy though that has some 2015 tacoma weather tech floor mats. Wondering if I could get away with those versus buying brand new. If anyone has a clue it would be greatly appreciated.

Nope. The floor changed.

Get some new Husky mats. Worth every penny.

 

I don't believe they will fit properly, but try Craigslist for used ones for 16 and up. Worst case, they're worth buying new at least for the front.

+ 1 for the Husky X-Acts. I found the WeatherTech too slippery when wet. Prefer the Husky.

 

Starting in 2018 the passenger side floor got retainers to hold the mats.

 

I have a 2017 and the passenger side mat from Husky has holes and they supply two retaining clips, with very sharp points (ask how I know).

 

Right, they include those anchors for the 2016 and 2017 so they won't slide up under the dash.

 

Sounds good, the ones I was looking at brand new were husky. But figured, free is free!! And thanks, I'll get a picture of her up soon. Already got some things for her, just want to throw it on all at once lol.
