What can you recommend for front only (rear in excellent condition) floor mats? I definitely need something that can handle mud, snow, etc. Thanks for any input

I'd spend a little more (not than OE probably) and buy some Husky or Weather Techs.

WeatherTech FloorLiner HP. Softer than the regular FloorLiner and more coverage than OEM liners.

I really like the Toyota OEM all weather mats. Have had aftermarket brands in the past and I’ve been much happier with OEM for fit and durability.

I have a set of them as well. Plan on going back to that set after winter. I think the weathertech set is better at containing the melting snow from shoes

I’ve always heard good things about them. I was able to pick up a gently used WeatherTech set for $75

i have the husky xact fit and would recommend them. great fit as the name implies, and they prevent debris from getting down along the edge of the door sill.

i went with the yitamotor versions off Amazon. same fit/finish as weathertech, without supporting a brand that i question the ethics of.

Bak Revolver X4S tonneau cover. Android Auto USB plug upgrade! H11 to H9. Sound deadened/insulated floors and rear wall. VLED license plate reverse light. Yokohama GO15s. Rokblokz mud flaps. "Custom" 3in Flowmaster Super 50 Series cat back with a 3in Speedys Snap resonator. J&L catch can. AMP Powersteps
I'd go with the Weathertech HP mats.
Everyone I know including me buy Weathertech. They're made about an hour north of me so I like to support them.

Husky Xact fit are much better IMO than Weathertech. I have had both and the WT would warp a bit over time and were not tall enough on the drivers side in the front so snow melt and salt residue would get behind the mat into the carpet from my feet resting on the block and petal. They also stained on me and looked terrible in not to long.

The Xact fit is supposed to compete with the Weathertech HP. Did you have that model? Its new and more of a rubber design

    Tuxmat.

Husky x-act is a second choice.

    3d Maxpider, 3rd place

    Husky weatherbeater/Gator 4th

    Weather tech tied for 4th.

Weathertech hp. Much improved over the original. Hp provides the extra coverage over and into the door jam area which historically sucked in winter with the old version when snow and water would run underneath at the seal of the foot well.

I did not, so that is good. My only concern would then be if they were tall enough on the firewall side. Have not seen them to know that and don't need any because the Husky's are great and working perfectly.

I'll look at husky for next purchase. The edges of the weather tech curl up after about a year.
