I see alot of talk on here about Husky mats how are they in comparison to the OEM all weather or and another brand all weather if I prefer mats that are not “plasticy”thin and rigid as some weathertec ones I've had on different vehicles.
I prefer a thicker soft rubbery mat and as form fitting as possible.
The OEM that say “TACOMA” on them are pretty cool though

Looks like the Husky will work but I don’t really ever have anyone in the back except for the dog which i have a whole backseat cover. But i would still like to have something on the floor rather than nothing at all (dog, cargo mess etc) Im sure at some point someone is going to ride in the back. I think I had someone have to ride in the back once in the last three years. Don’t mind spending the money for the fronts but can’t justify for the backs. What is a inexpensive alternative to for a truck specific back only?

Get Husky Xact contour for front.
If you have oem for back just use them.
Or go to a big box store and get 2 individual cheap ones for back.

My OEM Tub Mats are almost as good as Weathertech tub mats. They're ok. Enough for me to not go out and get Weathertechs.

husky x act front and rear. It's one of those "worth the cost" upgrades.

My two year old TRD pro mats already have a small hole worn through from the heel of my left/clutch foot. Not sure if I just got a bad one.

Toyota oem rubber mats tend to curl up and don't last very long in my experience.

Husky WILL NOT warranty their product, IME.
WeatherBeater floor liners, in my case. Defective out of the box.
I switched from decades using WeatherTech to save a few bucks, but won't go the Husky route again.

    They do indeed.
I'd take bad Husky's over OEM.

My mats from my 2018 Pro MT are in great shape although the revised design may have made it thiner in parts. Also, having a manual makes the options for floor mat alternatives significantly more limited.
