Hey guys here lately my driver side passenger side and in the extended cab driver side the floor is very damp.im not sure where start and check at.I did end up pulling the front carpet up and the black plugs in the floor pan are filled with water. I’ve checked all window seals and that are all fine.I believe it’s condensation but could be wrong what could be the problem?IMG_5979.jpg IMG_5978.jpg

Hmmm? Maybe the drain from the air conditioning? Just a quick thought.

99.99% of the time it is the AC drain. Open the hood and look at the P/S firewall where it just starts to wrap under the truck. There should be a rubber hose. Squeeze it to see it there debris blocking the opening, dont get under it just in case, it can be some nasty shirt ruining stuff. Pull the passenger side carpet away from where the Passengers feet go and see if the hose has been knocked off, do this second because if there is a blockage outside you dont want it all draining in the cab.

My condensate drain clogged with the decaying bits of foam from the air duct seals. I didn’t notice it until I was on a long drive (late June in central Florida) and saw standing water in the passenger footwell. I pulled over and opened the drain with the handle of a pair of pliers and was shocked at how much water drained out. Once I got where I was going I used a shop vac to suck out all remaining bits of foam via the condensate drain and now that is a regular maintenance item for me.

If it was restricted to the passenger side it might be the drains below the windshield and the wipers. Toyota issued a bulletin about this. Mine has it… passenger floor gets soaked after big rains. The fix involves taking off hood and fender and spraying gunk in there to fill the seam. There are some posts about it. GL

Spray water along the passenger door with it closed. At the glass, at the top, and along the sides of the door. Inspect the door weatherstrip. If it has water pooled along the plastic scuff plate (the long piece you removed) you can narrow it down to the weatherstrip, vapor barrier behind the door card, or the speaker (unlikely if you haven't modified your speakers).

Otherwise it could be what Pbfender15 suggested - I didn't take the fender off when I did mine, only the plastic wiper cowl and applied sealant that way. Annoying to do but solved the issue so no more sweaty sock smell from mold.
