I am heading up to Citrus for the day on the 3rd with 2 other trucks if anyone wants to meet us up there. I know it's somewhat short notice, but since we are only going for the day no camping it was more of a spur of the moment thing.

They are all remanufactuered OEM racks, even if you buy it from toyota, but it's WHO does the remanufacturing that matters. But i am sorry to hear about that, that kinda stuff sucks.

yeah. I figured i would support a small business on ebay, vs. buying a reman unit from Autozone or Advanced. Their process sounded good and they do their work in house, so I figured proud Americans would be better then an autozone unit that is probably outsourced to china. They have 100% positive feedback, and reading through their feedback for the tacoma R&P's they were all positive...

I have really shitty luck though, so it might just be me.

Literally, every time I do something like this I end up having to do it twice because a part is defective...I am just freaking cursed.

I just emailed the company about the R&P...

Should I give them another chance and let them send me another one, or just I just demand a refund and go to autozone?

I am leaning towards asking for my money back. At least with autozone I can go down there and bitch at them....lol...

Never again will I use ebay auto parts

Its $100 more for an autozone unit. And your right...I can have one in less than a day and put it in. At least I will have experience putting one in :rolleyes:

It is actually a pretty easy job if anyone never needs help with one.

Rock auto has pretty good prices, a little bit more expansive than autozone...but after this problem I am having I am just going to order the rack from a local place so if there is a problem I can just drive over and sort it out vs. having to mail it out...

Oh I wish I would have just went to autozone
