Thanks guys for all the nice stuff said about Bart. He is a Belgian Malinois. I will stay in the unit and get another dog. I enjoy K9 way too much to every leave. Love watching the dog catch a bad guy...Never gets old. Anyway, on the lighter side, my leaf pack from all pro should be here tuesday!!! It's been about a month in waiting so I am real excited. I don't know what the problem has been lately but get anything shipped has been like pulling teeth? For me anyway...guess I just have bad luck..lol

I just bought my ticket for redneck yacht club next weekend. Anybody else going? It's serving as my buddies bachelor party. I'm taking the taco but plan on beating my Honda out there all weekend.

you're in warranty, so it shouldn't be an issue. if they refuse to do it, call toyota corporate and get a case number. they will then speak directly to the dealer and usually things work out after that.

jonathan, that's still a killer deal on teh COs! you'll essentially have brand new shocks after the rebuild, at the price of what one coilover costs new.

As long as you have less than 60,000 miles you wont have a problem. Thats easy stuff, but should take damn near all day to do the repair. Pays almost 7 hours warranty time.

Probably just water condensation from the a/c system. But i can check it for you next time we meet up.

Now on another note, would you PLEASE post in that WTB thread i sent you about your pro comp, those guys are probably thinking it's kinda fishy some guy is talking about "knowing a guy" and the other guy hasnt chimed in yet to let them know i'm not full of crap, you have 2 def buyers in there by the way. Here's the link.

those aren't too bad on the rust. you can bring the bolts to the hardware store and get a new set with some lock washers. the rust on the misalignment spacers should be easy to clean up too. the new ones are aluminum, but unless those are just rusted from rust dripping off of other parts, the steel should be easy to clean. there is actually a small uniball joint in there. the rust you are seeing is on the spacers themselves. you can pull them right out, wire wheel them, and paint them. then they should slide right back into the uniball. jsut don't paint the uniball itsself.

you can also touch up the springs with some rubberized spraypaint from the autoparts store.

something else to considder, is that they are stock travel shocks. if you have aftermarket UCAs, for a couple extra bucks, DSM can rebuild them with the extended travel shafts when you send them in. not sure what cost is on that, but i wouldn't think it's too much since i believe all you're replacing is the shaft itsself.
