We got crazy LUCKY last year, went to the beach over there and saw all kinds of people stopped on the side of the road at the entrance to nasa, turned out the space shuttle was returning and we got to see it fly right over our heads! That was AWESOME!

 

Yeah, what's wrong with you?!?! I keed, I probably would, too, if it happened so often.

WTF The shuttle is going to DC that means it will NEVER WORK ONE MORE DAY IN ITS LIFE

 

I can see all of the launches crystal clear from my back porch
they've been shooting off a lot of rockets recently.

they had already said the shuttles would never fly again (under their own power) back in july when Atlantis had the final mission.

if it stays in DC, that means there are going to be two shuttles there

 

Took me 3.2 seconds to get that....

Lucky... They have one set for the end of this month, too. If I can get a picture with Armstrong, watch the shuttle get piggy-backed, and then see a rocket launch ya'll will never hear from me again because I will have died. Very. Happy.

 

My dad's a professional fotographer and is realy into the space program. he's taken some great pictures of the shuttles over the years. i'll see if i can get him to email me some to post up. i also have a picture of myself with Buzz Aldrin somewhere. gotta dig that up

 

being from DC, it didn't make a lot of sense. though i know what you were making a stab at.

 

Jason I see your palm tree and raise you a couple oak trees.

I think we dropped 5 trees today. Used the taco to help yank them down when they would get stuck up in the other trees up top.

probably have 20-30 more trees to drop in the next couple months here so we can build

 

I dont see any ROOTS! But still fun none the less i'm sure!

he pulled out a couple year old palm tree that was already leaning...that doesnt count either. I coulda done that with a freakin prius.

 

Mine wasnt leaning from damage or death, it was planted that way and growing that way, thing had been in there at least 6 years. Still got me some roots!

And i had to pull it down against the lean.

i dont even wanna think what some of the roots on this old ass oak trees look like...

 

Dude they gotta be crazy long and lord knows where they would go. Least with the palm, no matter how old, they are still in the same area for the most part.

 

we have one oak thats hanging out over the marsh...crazy shit. ill get a picture soon if i remember

 

we had to knock some down in a friends pasture, we had out tracor locked and in 4lo and tugging and pulling and snatching. took us 4 hours haha
