i don't have one, but I am gonna knock out the antenna mount this evening. Just picked up some more steel after classes when i went to get the stainless hardware for ryan's rack.

Pricey? i think we pay less than $80 a month for full coverage on my Tacoma and my Wifes Limited Rav4

 

that's not bad. i paid around 85/month when i had full through geico (family bundle makes it cheap), but then they hiked our rates almost 100% so we moved to progressive. now i pay 60 a month, but not full coverage.

 

I will find out for sure, i think i am shooting too high, but dont want to say for sure till i ask the bill lady (wife)

 

I pay $65 a month through star farm for full coverage and zero deductibles on everything.

 

I got a cb tuner I can bring with me. Just bring some tiny allen keys with you that fit your antenna.

 

i pay so much because its my own and i have tickets and what not. im sure itll go down soon enough

Ryan, I definitely want to check out your cb setup.

 

Ryan, you gonna make it to ocala on friday? If so i would like to use your swr meter, but i will only be there friday. Plus my antenna needs no tools for adjustment.

 

if anyone wants it i got a free cb setup today from a used car.

Heck, i'm still trying to figure out if my set up is working right or not, everytime i try to test it with greg something seems to go wrong, i'm not sure if my shits messed up or gregs mic is messed up. He says he can hear me talk, but i cant hear him. I do get some response from him hitting the button, but no sound, but i have heard people talking if i am messing with it on the way home.

 

does the sound come out of the mic? or do you have to hook it up to external speakers? cause i've never been able to test mine, i have it hooked up to a pa speaker, and it works fine, but i don't have an antenna, so i have no idea if i'm supposed to be hearing sound back from anything

 

Greg can hear me through his CB when i talk using my mic, but when he hits the button on his, there is some sort of response on mine (display), but no sound comes through.

 

i guess i was asking if all cb radio's come with internal speakers, and it seems like most do, maybe urs is blown? if u had aftermarket or aux, maybe try hookin it up to that?
