i have tried joining a few times but never could get the confirmation email to fully set it up so i can't login

Went to leave work last night, driver side low beam apparently is no more. Anyone wanna recommend a good replacement bulb? I'd like to get something a little brighter than stock if possible, but without going the HID or lame bright ass ricer blue bulbs route, also want something fairly cheap.

 

i think phillips or silvania both sell some good replacements

 

at least you noticed it i take it. i hate when i see people over and over or people that are just clueless they only have one head light. or when one light is running on high and they don’t seam to care they are blinding people.

 

Anyone know of a wrecked 2ng Gen 4X4? Looking for xfer case, front diff all that good stuff

I'd go with a FJ case if you can, I have heard of electrical issues with 2nd Gen Tacomas trying to do the 4wd Swap

 

Thinking I may need to take a trip up to Autozone. I had to replace my driver tail light at 35K miles, all the lights on the right side of the vehicle going strong though...

The second I started my truck I noticed it, I'm the same way and can't stand seeing people driving with one light or no lights on. I used the fogs to drive home, luckily I'm in the city for the most part so my drives are all currently well lit, but I was worried about getting pulled over.

i got the best set of sylvanias autozone carries about a year ago. nice bulbs. right aroung $50 if i remember correctly.

 

The silverstar ultra's right? How "white" are they compared to normal H4 bulbs?

I want to get some whiter bulbs for my round eye lamps, as the ones that came with them aren't white enough for my tastes...and I dont want to spend $50 on bulbs that end up being no whiter/brighter than the bulbs I have now.

 

if ulta is the highest, that's what they are. they're a little whiter, but not HID white. they had a little color chart when i bought mine

edit: i think normal headlights are around the 3000-3500k range. i want to say these are closer to 4500k

 

Just found out I got drawn for the gator hunts.

 

I second the fj t case. With it being manual should be easier.
