    I had 4 behind my grille for a short while. I soon decided that airflow to the radiator would be a concern in the summertime especially... That and I didn't want to limit light output at all. To each his own, but I just wanted to highlight that it's something to think about.

    Behind the grille or right in front of it seems the same to me, still going to reduse air flow, but not bad enough to affect radiator performance.

    I would like to see someone who has done it in hot areas.... I don't think it could do that bad.... howver I do have M4 mesh on mine already...so I have limited mine a bit I'm sure...but it seems to be doing fine.

    Also remember there is still the fan that will kick in when stopped....which is the worst time for airflow. Air will still get to the radiator considering there's a lower valence grill as well...

    I'm no expert but I don't think it would hurt to try.

    Colin posted a pic of another FL member that has 4, and i havent heard of any issues with him, we dont have electric fans, we have standard belt driven fans which will keep the air moving at all times.

    Not a horrible thought though. If i have time one day i might get my laser temp gauge out in the shop and compare radiator inlet and outlet temps of mine versus another taco. Would be good to know for the future.

    I'm pretty sure I saw the same guy, and that was who inspired me to do it on mine... Then I got them all hooked up and didn't like the clearance and issues I've mentioned thus far. I'm no expert when it comes to fine mechanical stuff. I'm a shadetree mechanic at best
