Speaking of flex what leafs do you plan to run? You think something nice and soft like deavers? Do you tow or haul shit often?

 

I don't plan on lifting it, I want it to sit lower actually. I'll probably pull a leaf out and get some shackles so it will flex some more. It rides REALLY rough so I'm thinking some nice shocks should do it.

man that thing has no flex at all it looks so stiff the tire barrly moves

 

I'm leaning that way with mine to. If anything less than an inch or so to keep the cog down and road worthiness up. You don't have to get deavers with lift though if you are looking into a new pack.

Kinda like the h1's but they seem to do a pretty damn good job in the rocks.

I don't know. They are pretty impressive. It's funny most of the time it's on 3 wheels but it's so freaking wide that it's stable. Did you see the video of the idiot on a flex stand or whatever it's called and the lifts one side up and flips the whole h1?

I love that video. After seeing it I searched and it turns out the diff breathers are routed to the snorkel. I wish Toyota took a couple of the goodies from the h1.

 

Interesting. Is that what long tube was? That thing must have some strong suction or not require that much air to operate.

h1s are great unless you drive straight into a 12ft high snow drift........

long story short. when i was in the airforce i was security police in minot north dakota. one night we got an alarm at one of the missile sites. it had been blowing snow for at least 15 hours.our flight leader insisted we take the hmmvee and the peacekeeper because of the weather(good thing) about halfway back, after checking the site, we were kind of playing around a little and ran the hmmvee off the road and straight int a snow drift.....it was like we got caught in an avalanche. we radioed the pk(who was with us)the only thing they could see were our tailights , the hooked up to us and drug us out. it was pretty crazy...wish i had pictures
