    hey colin. do you have any inside pic of that trailer? past few weeks i been thinking about trying to build something kinda like it next year. for some expedition type stuff. i thought about a M416 and a RRT set up. but like the idea of just parking and being able to open a door and get in. i thought about making it wear their is about 10” false floor. for storage. for what ever. camping gear, maybe few extra parts for truck. would have lids i could open, kinda like a boat or something. The top would be the plat forum you could sleep on.

    alright, I have proof that ther is no need for a "true cold air intake" like what urd makes, K&N uses is just fine.

    Below is a screenshot of my phone. the info is pretty self explanatory. the only bit of info you are missing is that outside air temp was 94 degrees at the time of screenshot.

    as you can see, there is only a 2.8 degree difference between intake temp and outside air temp, which is nowhere close enough of a temperature varience to lose any power/mileage/etc.

    The reason i can say that an open box style is perfectly fine is because I built my own intake with an open top like K&N, and i don't even have any weather seal around the top. I do however have a top to the box that bolts on with a seal on it. i've tested it with and without the top, and there is no difference measurable difference in intake temp/outdoor temp ratio.
