lol they are good. Be back in jax for good in 1 week!! still working on talking my wife into letting me go to the january citrus meet.

It ought to be nice to be able to be with the family for a week.

School is going pretty well. I can't believe there's only a month left to the semester.

Funny you ask about the Mazda. I just dropped it off today for a new paint job. The clear coat was failing so it's getting some TLC. It's getting new paint, a few coats of clear, wet sanding etc.

 

stayin red or changing color?

 

Porsche red. I'm afraid it would look tacky with the engine bay being different and when you lift the carpet and all that stuff. It would bother me.

 

speaking of the toyota knowledge god.... Jason, do you know of the AC control backlights are linked to the dash dimmer? all of the sudden both of those things stopped working

 

I hope there aren't hungry rodents making a home in your truck too.

They are tied to the dimmer

 

I was going to say, yes, the a/c lights are controled by the dimmer, but what exactly failed?

 

Definitely will have to do lunch when I am back. Very nice on the paint job. Make it look like new. Now when's the turbo and full cage going in?

 

Colin do you have the lights turned on? Just had to ask....

 

the dimmer no longer dims my dash lights (but the dash lights up). my AC control lights are out. the recirculate, and ac buttons light up, but the adjuster knops are not backlit. I think it may be two separate issues.

tried every combination of lighting i could. nothing

 

Try pulling the dash off and checking the connection of the dimmer. It would have came loose. I would take it off and reconnect it. And than check fuses.
