haha, i was talking about zero mechanical ability, hopefully mine is a notch above zero, but i doubt i woulda been able to install the leveling kit without thomas's help and tools.

i'll do it next week though, hopefully it'll work out, and be safe

me too. my leafs are real close to making a sad face.

 

nah...too much faith in the gm engines after seeing my dads go 260 or 270k (dont remember exactly) with zero problems before we replaced it

the extra space and towing capacity would just be nice for me. the taco tows my boat fine...but a fullsize tows its like its not even there...plus a bigger bed would be great for rods/gear/kayak. etc.

I also prefer the GM trucks appearance over the ferds

 

if you get a full size, you'd better have at least 37s on it.........

another thing ive noticed is the tacoma SUCKS gas like a bitch when I tow

 

yeah, they have plenty of power to tow, but they get real thirsty.

with a full size diesel, you'd be able to push 37s like it's nothing

 

I like the tundra but for the headlights and grill, but the other half hates the inside layout of the cab,,, She likes the inside of the F150 but I cant wrap my head around a ford, but do like the 365 HP and cab lay out. It will be a yr. or 2 for us anyway..

 

i prob end up doin a small lift and 35s if i did...anything higher and you get those dumb ass drop hitches to tow with

I still dunno if im a fan of the new tundys yet..almost look like a dodge on steroids...granted i can get discounts on a toyota if i buy new..but i doubt id be able to swing a new tundy...

 

i thought for a while, tundras were having real good rebates, my buddy got a a 2012 trd offroad for a real reasonable price, like just a few grand over taco

 

Higher gas gets,the cheaper the full size trucks gets. Funny our 4.0's are about the same on gas but try to make a deal on a new one.

 

exactly why upgrading might be a good choice for me...might actually get better mileage ahahah
