X2. Especially recently. I was told they've been getting way more applications than normal in the last year.

 

Electronic is the way to do it ... 7days and it's in the mailbox ... ;-)

 

I couldn't find out where to do it

 

you have to go to the licensing office and they do the prints and applications all electronically.

The instructor for my class told us about that option, but it's a hike for me, and i'm not in a rush, so i just did mail.

 

Scary night.

Just got word that my girlfriend lost control of her Integra on the highway on the way back from Jax in the rain. She lost control and began to spin and ended up in the median about a 1ft from the the opposite side of the road. She's shooken up but ok, the car is making some strange sounds though.

Anything I should look at in specific to look for damage wise? Spinning out and going into a grassy/muddy median/ditch from highway speeds. From what she's describing it just sounds like she's got a good bit of mud and other gunk stuck in the wheels, I've heard the same type sounds after mudding the truck. She's still about 30mins away from home, but she's really shook up.

Wish she had a 4Runner or a Taco, I hate that fucking car. I never feel safe with her in it. Damn integras got the integrity of a can of beer.

 

the jacksonville one was about 5 mins from my house so it was a lot faster for me.

 

good thing she is ok and didnt make it to the other lane. probably just some mud those medians are pretty nasty when it rains.

 

I've seen a few trucks get stuck in that median. I was worried I was going to have to try and go tow her out but luckily she stopped right at the edge of the road so she was able to get back onto the highway and then go turn around again.

I'm on the phone with her now and the car is definitely making some strange noises.

Thankfully if anythign else goes wrong I have just enough gas money to make it to her, and she has enough to get home. If anything goes wrong, anybody know how I could go about legally towing the Acura POS back home using the Taco? I've got a tow strap, but I don't really think 30+ miles of that will work.

 

Shes lucky something taller and its roll over time.. Tell her to slow down in the rain

 

she will most likely need an alignment. she could have bent a strut. the strut in that kind of car actually acts as the spindle. so a bent struct can cause all kinds of issues and make plenty of noises. bent bad enough, and she could have damaged a CV.

Mine only took a little over a month in the mail, but that was a few years ago. Give them a call! I had a friend that was waiting forever so he called to ask them about it, he got it in the mail the next week.
