Thomas, with spacers, the wheels fit with plenty of room. without, you will have to buz the calipers real quick with with the grinder. just depends on if you want to do so. it'd damn close.

on the third picture, there is some paint chipped off, that's where it rubbed when i bolted on thewheel and spun it.





obviously, i had put the wheel spacer on before i took this one, but the ships are from without the spacer.

 

I know you are on the short list for the next mod but did they send you in here to on the Fla.peeps???

that is a pretty sweet setup. adjustable even. very nice

 

interesting angle on the shocks

 

where did u even find springs like that ? are they made for trailers?

 

few reasons behnd that.

1-space. have to angle longer shocks to keep from having to build a shock hoop up into the interior of the trailer.

2-angled shocks allow for more suspension travel than the shock actually has (as in you can get 12 inches of axle movement out of a 10 inch shock). same reason you see the crawler guys with shocks mounted like / \

3-with 4 link suspension, the axle moves in a circle or arc motion, not straight up and down. shocks angled back will actually get more axle movement towards and away from them than it would appear.

the springs and aluminum collars are a "performance suspension kit" (aka lowering kit) for an Acura Integra.

 

It's a very unique setup colin. I can't wait to see it in person and watch it work. You may have revolutionized trailer suspension. we shall see
