    Yea, that's my next adventure. My buddy up here recommended I flush the tranny fluid.

    Yea, I would have had to cut up the bed liner so the anchors in the back would poke through and I didn't feel like chopping it up.

    One of the guys here on the forum gave me a rough quote for $300-$400 including removing the snugtop and re-installing it. Not abad deal, I just don't have $300-$400 to blow right now. It's actually dark green.

    Is that for Brutal?

    I'm curious how the green looks with the gold. If you really don't like it you could spray paint it until you get the money to get it painted. I just wouldn't try to match it and go black or something.

    It's dark enough now that I don't want to mess with it, but come painting time I'm going to color match it.

    Do you mind the current look? I was saying don't try to paint match it with spray paint sorry for not being clear.

    Alright so opinions...

    I just got the lift done a couple weeks ago. I know my gauges are off so I mainly use the trip to know when I need to fill up (roughly 300 miles) Since my gauge is off, when my trip hit a little less than 100 miles, the needle would be on F BEFORE the lift. Now I'm noticing that the needle starts to to hit F when the trip says only about 50 miles. I'll admit I do punch it here and there sometimes and the truck doesn't seem to like doing over 70-80 on the highway so I'm curious should I blame my gauge for being more off? Or is it sucking twice as much gas to spin those tires??

    Nasty picture of the giants logo does not need to be the pic of choice for the Florida BS thread. Just sayin.

    my opinion is the gauge sucks and you should draw conclusions based on gallons at the pump and gps mileage and if you don't have a gps try to figure out roughly the difference with the new tires with the tire size calc.

    I'm not sure where the gauge pick up thing is or how ever it works but you probably changed the rake of the truck thus changing the level of fuel at that point. I'm just guessing here though.

    Haha ok, glad you clarified bc I was like mmm, no rattle canning the tonneau. That would end terribly. I don't mind the look right now, so I'll wait it out and keep looking for pricing on the paint job.

    EDIT::
    This is a better pic of the color of the SnugTop compared with the color of my truck. The SnugTop is just sitting on my bed here with the liner still in so it's not quite a full install pic.

    x2 on the GPS route. You can do a thing where it tracks like total miles driven, keep a little gas can in the back incase you run out. Reset trip and compare the miles on that to the miles on the gps. Then from there you can have the percentage the odo is off.

    I wouldn't run it empty. Just fill up the whole way and and get to a 1/4 tank or whatever you prefer then fill it all the way up and you have your gallons.

    I don't know why I put that...Maybe to see total miles to a tank or something...Brain fart.

    There aren't may choices for 295's at least in the 16's when I looked. I only know of the Hankook mt's.
