this is true! They are really good in snow as well. had mine in about 8 to 10” of snow back in jan in NY. it was pretty dry powder snow, but have had them in some wet slushy stuff here. I love mine! if i get a/t’s agin when i get new tires i’ll get another set! I can’t find anything they are not good in. other than really thick mud, and thats probably only because they are AT’s.

haha. hey i can probably have more fun in the snow then you can in the sand. :p

the little bit of sand we have up in the mountains sucks! it’s all old sand stone that has worn and just washed out kinda, It All is kinda loose but it all packs kinda easy. nothing at all like nice beach sand.

and don’t you deal with snow going to NY?

Lol. I love when we get snow. hell they can say that we MAY get snow and some counties will close school. but also we don’t really have to stuff to clear the roads. and lots of back wind mountain roads, that 2 cars can just barley pass and no guard rails with 30’+ drops. heck back when i was in HS, at least 3 or 4 busses could not get to kids to pick them up because of snow and ice and the whole rest of the county had nothing at all.

Sorry, I didn't catch that post. it's a 4' x 8' floor, with most of it being 4' from floor to celing, with the exception of the very front where it slants down.

snow's ok to drive in....snow wheeling is where it really gets fun

Boots are starting to get dry rotted. Don't think they are blown out yet, but it won't be long if I wheel it much, especially if I have an additional inch of lift.

@Thomas: I'm pretty sure the coils are stock. The struts aren't though.

I'm thinking that TacoMX and I are on the same page as far as the age and mileage on the truck making it a good bet that the stock coils are probably tired. That's basically why I started thinking the OME coilovers might be the better way to go beyond the obvious benefits.

Billies and Eibachs are cheaper than OMEs? Cause I was seeing the opposite, at least at Toytec. The complete Toytec 5100 coilover 3 inch kit was about $100 more than the OME complete kit (both upgraded to the Dakar rear springs).

Hmmm, I'll have to price it out separately and see what it comes to since I already have the BPV extension bracket and I probably don't really need the rear dampers or the front diff drop kit.

Hey it’s fine! I was just wondering. I’m about to start drawing up a trailer. it’s going to kinda be like yours in a way. but i’ll have a battery or 2 for some power when camping. it will be kinda a cargo/expo trailer. something i can use for hauling moving stuff that needs to stay dry, something i can go camping for a full weekend or even a week in.(will use a cot or blow up bed to sleep on) maybe take it hunting.

Will have small doors, one on each side like most tear drops do. that back will be a slit door, more like a cargo trailer. and may have a tire swing out on the rear as well, idk yet. I will also have the walls on the out side of the supports, and may have it lineX’ed. I will also have insulation in the walls and will pop rivet sheet metal to the walls on the inside.(will probably be somewhat thin aluminum, something just to protect the insulation from getting messed up.) I may add a flat low profile roof rack as well, just because, and that way if i need more space i have it. or may just make sure the roof will support some weight and just add some tie down points. I don’t know got a lot of ideas in my head for it. don’t know what ideas i’ll use and which ones i will not.

never snow wheeling in a truck/suv. but have in the rhino and on atvs.
