    So I recommended this lady change her timing belt right before I left for vacation. She's got 230,000 miles on her original timing belt. Se returned today because her check engine light was on. Pulled a cam sensor code and it was running like shit. This is what I found:

    The timing belt came apart to the point that it was off timing by 1 tooth hence it running so bad. I don't even know how this thing was still running. Had it broke she would have bought an engine.

    Just like your gas gauge...the stupid thing says empty but you know you can squeeze a couple miles out of it.

    Everything I've read about ankonas leads me to believe that they've never made a bad boat. Have you looked into and of the IPB's? They're good cheap little skiffs as well.
