That's a relief cause I wasn't finding the info I wanted. Figured I would keep looking tomorrow. Glad to hear all is right now.

 

his explanation was that in cases that it would have gone north or south of the numbers i stated, that it goes into open loop, and stops monitoring, therefor it just shows the max or min, instead of zeroing out, untill you go back to closed loop. he also said that the OBDII port also just sits out a calculated AFR, since it doesn't have an actual wide band sensor in the exhaust for a measure output.

Now i'm looking at wideband measurement kits. gues i may be adding an a-pillar guage setup or guagepod in the near future.

Ahahah I wore that shirt in the 4th of July 5k. Hugeeee mistake, that shirt is like an oven. It doesn't breath....at all..

turns out this wasn't trouble, but rather a lack of knowledge on my end. I am having some trouble pushing the new map onto the MAF calibrator, but that's just computer/adapter cable issues. running it on the stock map right now wich is better than no MAF calibrator, but not as good as the volant speciffic map.

yeah, it's that imitation sports material. breathes more like a tarp than microfiber though lol

Thanks. It was definitely a weird feeling putting those in the oven, and then they fight to come apart making me wonder if I did it right. But I got them both apart and fully torn down. Now to sand, paint, cure and try to put them back together. Fingers crossed.

 

yeah, i had to pry mine appart. pretty normal.

 

Did you or anyone else that has done this, sand your bezels or just paint them as they are?
