Is the light still in one piece. If so in needs to come apart and be buffed to get that out..

 

Yup, still in one piece, this was what I was afraid of... Guess this project will have to wait until after the move!

 

I did that to 3 different sets and never had an issue. That stinks.

 

Well i have a weekend full of fixing vehicles. Wife needed new plugs and rear diff fluid in her 4runner. That was easy and took me like and hr to do everything. Than the ford i found some nasty brown sludge and nice brown coolant. So i spent the rest of the weekend flushing and running super clean and flush through the whole system. It took me 2 days to do the whole thing. Also threw in a new thermostat since i was messing around with everything.

 

Also Jason the sunroof on my wifes 4runner is starting to leak alittle in the back driverside corner. Any tips? I can see a couple drips coming in when i pour water on it and it started to drip alittle on the slide cover.

 

Check the drains for the sunroof, make sure they aren't clogged. But if its leaking when it's closed you will need a new seal, which likely means you will need a new glass cause I don't think the seal is available separate. But don't quote me on that cause I'm not certain.

 

K i will take a look next chance i get. Next time you have some down time at work could you get me a quote on either the seal or complete glass for a 2007.

 

Is that the new lights???

 

Yes, those were the "new" lights. They had the burn on the turn signal lens, he was trying to do what I had done in the past. Pop them out and tin snip them through the headlight hole.

 

The burn cracked completely through, leaving one end still caught in the cowling, and the edge contacted the lens. The scuffs are minor, almost invisible, I might just get them laminx-ed and call it a day.

Speaking of, where do I find someone to laminx these? A tint shop?

 

Call around to tint shops or dealers that do "clear bra" or something similar. Have them do it for you. Only took my tint guys minutes to do mine.

My FT.Myers deal will be completed by November ( please, ) and I will be bringing both vehicles south......for X-mas/January.

Both the Tacoma and I will need some "Play time" in between working & honey-doos ...

Depending on $$$$ and time ,Ocala and Big Cypress might wait until next season/vacation...

 

Ideally I will get them done before leaving... Looking less likely each passing day

 

Safety of the clear lens for the drive out. Then fix them in cal when you have time. Some things over ride looks

 

New front strobe bulb placement. Didn't have to drill the bezels and the bulb won't be visible from the outside. The light will reflect off the headlight bowl. Actually looks really cool and it shouldn't be as bright on the trails as last time when it was blinding some people.
