That's pretty much the exact same setup I am running right now (different control arms) and I pulled a leaf out of the leaf pack to lower my rear some giving me a level ride without having to crank the coilovers too much reducing your ride quality. But to warn you, the OME leafs are pretty damn stiff and if you are not planning on riding with weight in the back the all pro leaf pack may be a better option.

 

Just mounted my remote connector for the winch. I think this should be a good spot.

 

oh alright didnt know that, ya id rather have smoother ride, ill get the allpro leaf pack, whats shocks should I get with them? dont really know which ones are better

Well, the bumper is dry and I am not happy. Lots of drips and runs from all the moisture. I will probably go ahead and mount it (hopefully tomorrow) and then next day I have off sand it and repaint it while its on the truck. Just the really bad areas and the areas that didnt get good coverage cause it ran. Just mask off the truck and spray and make it right.

 

Not sure how the 2nd gen leafs differ from the 1st gen ones if at all but my truck weighs less than yours and I love my all pro ones. Got the 3" lift ones, not the expos. Not too stuff but not caddy soft either. But when I have weight in the back, say people, and hit a bump real hard the rear feels like it didn't hit a thing.

Not lately that's for damn sure. But it's cool cause I know I can and will fix it. Not happy that I have to, but that's life.

 

To paint in FL during hot humid days (like almost everyday) you need a real climate controlled booth ... Otherwise you will have these issues

Best method for rattle cans outside , is to place it in direct sunlight (only while spraying) and apply thin coats

It's all good. Like I said, I will mount it and then mask everything off, sand it, and resprayed what I need to. Not super worried about it. Just didn't think too far ahead in terms of what time I painted.

 

Also if you're using a textured paint like Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating, you can use a brush to smooth out drips while they are still wet. I had to do that a couple times with my sliders when I painted them and it blended right in.

 

Only spray one coat a day other wise the first coat (no time to dry) will always be weak. ie ez to scratch .My old guy tip of the day.=== You cant rush paint, yeast bread,, or pussy
