    We were out there for about an hour and a half just a hand full of us. Then about 8:30 it was like a bus dropped everyone off at our place, between adults and kids there were almost 20 of us out there. Not too bad for an impromptu fire bowl.

    They have to monitor them for comfort. Make sure they don't over heat in the back.

    The vehicles have 2 inside temp gauges. One for the front and one for the cage. It is a heat alarm just in case something happens to the vehicle and the dog is still inside. If it gets too hot the windows go down, a fan in the back kicks on and the lights and sirens go off. I also have a remote temperature gauge on my vest that gives me the temps of the vehicle. The remote also has a door pop on it so if I'm in a fight I can hit the button and unleash hell. The old door poppers never had the temperature on them but the new ones do.

    this is a heat alarm. The small remote goes on my vest. This is my exact system.

    It did look pretty comfy when I saw it. That release button sounds bad ass. I want to see it in action but not being the bad guy.

    That is pretty cool. How hot does it have to get before the alarm goes off.
    Interested because i keep my dog in the camper top on long trips.

    That young man is why I am :cool: "searching" for work when we get down there....I have already completed a few phone interviews and in between "making the house a home", enjoying the fishing ( Caloosahatchee is my back yard ;) ) the trips to job sites will "Gear-up".....with back hauls from Home Depot and Sears...

    Hopefully the more my wife gets to put her "personal" touch to the place the easier it will be to become "Floridians" again :thumbsup:..

    Ft.Myers, my Dads old place...gave him peace and quiet for 5 years,we want to see if it will do 20+ for us..:cool: ;

    Equipment operator/ truck driver.....

    SouthEastern is interested and I have spoken to a few of the mines in Lee/Charlotte counties....

    Southwest Florida is so much more relaxed than Central Florida was....We were in Clermont for 8 years during the BOOM.;).....Greater Hills was just being drawn on paper when I bought in '89 and now it is one of Lake Counties largest cities :eek: BUT I rode that "building phase" hard just like everyone else....plus enjoyed driving along County 474/Green Swamp and then cutting the state in 1/2 along Rt.50; Brooksville to Citypoint and everything in between..

    I am tired of dealing with the 2-3 month furloughs and that POWDA called snow..:rolleyes:

    Looks like a lot more fun than I've been having the last couple of days. :D

    The bottom of the bathroom sink drain pipe going into the wall rusted completely out. Had to bust out part of the wall to replace it and then had to play carpenter to build a new vanity since the old one didn't survive removal.
