Last year leaving snowshoe after a badass week I made a left hand turn at the bottom of the mtn instead of a right. I bust a u turn in my buddies 1500, the snow was heavy so I was in 4x4 it refused to turn so I had to go off the other shoulder of the road. It ended up being a drainage ditch filled with snow. The truck bottomed out on the rear diff and was literally a few degrees from completely flipping on it's side-had to crawl out the drivers side window. Within 10 minutes a guy drives by and says he will be back in a minute. He comes back in a old school chevy the bed is filled with cinderblocks and hooks up a chain and it took some pulling but he got us out, I threw him a 20 spot and on our way we went.

Don't do anything stupid and your truck would make it just fine. I've been all over Colorado but snowshoe is cheap and badass for the east coast.

finally finished the coils! Damn for some reason that took way longer that it should have. so the ride is pretty firm but with the weight of the bumper it should smooth out. At first the UCA was rubbing the coil pretty bad but i think once it gets warn in and the grease get deep into the bushings than it will be better, and again the weight of the bumper will help. Its a pretty sweet bro lean right now! Its 38" in the front on both sides and 37" in the back. Now this is just with the 886 coils and top plate spacer. The All Pro leaf pack hasnt been installed yet.

    coming along nicely ryan!
if you don't mind, could you take a measurment from the center of the hub to the finder? that'll give us a good lift measurement that is independent of tire size. i'm just curious.

i'm at about 2.5 inches of lift and my center of hub to fender is 23.25 inches. that'll be a good way to figure out your total lift when you're finished

Question: Will stock rims fit on hubcentric wheel spacers?

So something is not right. Its firm but i expected that. There is a lot of clunking, i think its from the UCA, i tried to get grease into them but wasnt able to make it come out the sides of the bushings. On one side it looks like most of the grease shot out of the zerk, so i am puzzled on that one. Just driving at normals speeds (40mph) and i make any turn at all and my tires start squeeling like all hell. And the distance between the UCA and the coil is making me pretty nervous. I am pretty sure it is making contact at full droop. Also the steering has become very sloppy and will swerve whenever i hit any bumps in the road. I think i might take the top plate spacer off and see if that helps. Its kinda unsettling, Anyone have any ideas?

For the driving at normal speeds, could that be the tires rubbing on the UCA's? Have you had an alignment?

No alignment yet. I dont think its the tires rubbing on the UCA there is a big gap between the two.
