and uh...speaking of trails lol...look what I managed to do just an hour ago XD

I had seriously made 8 or 9 passes through this spot on the side of the trail, and the last one I made a bad choice of trying to enter just a little bit earlier and slowed down and got stuck, almost got myself out...but me not having a diff lock...back right wheel lost its traction and thus....I was completely immobile with a single spinning back right tire in the mud. But with my luck, some guy in a Honda Ridgeline (dont even get me started) helped and managed to yank me out. As soon as I saw my back left wheel start to spin, I knew I had traction and semi floored it and got out lol

I am planning on getting the pass tomorrow and an ready to go. I have friends that have offered to take me but one drives an dodge 1500 on 10 inches and the other drives a big 2500 diesel and don't quite trust them to take me to fun spots instead of the places where I will just get stuck in.

I am free pretty much every weekend.

    morning!

yes....that is the unfortunate truth lol (which Im still dissapointed why someone would do that), I walked into this whole thing not knowing what the difference between the base, TRD offroad and sport packages were...big mistake on my end, savin money now for a diff lock, thatll be the next addition

Did the person you bought it from make it out to be a true TRD Off-Road? If so, they deserve a good swift curb stomp.

Well. I got my 1st truck @ 38 & knew nothing of TRD anything so don't feel bad. I also got a good deal on mine. I've seen PreRunners just like mine for sale now for what I paid 2 years ago.

My next Taco will be 4WD OR or Sport (most likely OR) for sure but for now I will enjoy what I have. Other than it not being 4WD I have ZERO complaints about it.

    Good to know.

Well that's good. I was worried you got played.

Regardless of the deal you got, it's a Tacoma, so it was a great buy. :D

I can tell you right now, the reason I got rid of my last Tacoma was because it was 2WD. It was a sweet truck, too - TRD Off-Road, rear locker, double cab, etc. I just couldn't live without 4WD.

Life is good man. Finally starting to get my work hours under control. Slowly but surely, at least.

    How are things with you?

Anyone in the central Florida area have any experience buying wood flooring? I am considering putting it in kyles room this week before his new bed shows up. I looked at lowes and they want like $400+ for his 10x12 room just for the flooring not including any misc stuff I might need with it.

I am always looking for wildlife to photograph. Maybe some of you guys that drive the trails have seen eagle nests or other cool wild stuff for me to shoot. Always up for cool landscapes as well, especially ones that show off wild Florida.
