turn your steering wheel to full lock and check to see if your tire is rubbing anywhere do it both ways. your alignment should cure the wander effect and the tire rubbing issues.

 

really!?!?!? Im kind of set on getting the Toytec lift that I found on here. You know nthe bad ass one with the coilovers?

 

Just checked and i have about 2-3 inchs from the UCAs and nothing rubs at all, i hope it cures the tire squeal bc its bad.

yup i have to order a new set and they said there shipment arrives friday. You pay so much more for the coil overs though. To me its not worth teh money if i am not going to change my height that often.

jesse, stock rims are hubcentric, so it would be silly to use them with anything but hubcentric spacers.

as for that guy selling the lift, try to talk him down on the toytec billie/coilovers. they are only $150 more brand new, and his look like they've gotten some use.

as for the AAL, you said you hate squeaky springs.....don't get the leaf from him. that one doesn't have an anti-friction pad on it, which will make it noticably noisier than a toytec AAL which, brand new, is only $30 more.

Seriously Jesse? Are you that lazy that you can't go to the Toytec site and get the link yourself? What about finding a shop to compress your coils? You can't open the phone book or go to google like Colton so kindly did?

If those pics are at full droop with no weight on the tires then it shouldn't go down any farther than that hence not get any closer to the coils so you should have to worry about contact. As far as the tires squealing I have no idea. Some noises will come from the uniball and the bushing until it breaks in. Did you put dry teflon lube on the uniball. Is the noise when you turn it or when the suspension cycles. If it's when you turn it's most likely the uniball if its when the suspension cycles it's most likely the bushings.

brand new, they are $800 BUT.....i just saw the "kit" they offer, that i haven't seen before.
for $600 you get the $800 kit, the only difference is that you put them together yourself (spring compressor), and it uses the top plate from shocks you have now. so unless the guy can beat that price, it would bud dumb in my opinion to buy them from him.

so pretty much, the extra $200 for the first kit from toytec, pays for a fancy looking aluminum top plate, and the labor cost for them to assemble them there.

 

Jason, the price on Toytec is almost $1200 so I know that isnt the site. CTA will do the compression and so will the Ford but they want big $

 

The "Fancy" aluminum top plate also provides more lift and is essentially a small top plate spacer lift.
